SIX WEEKS

what JOY this little baby boy brings us each and every single day. he is growing so fast and developing in new ways. it is so fun to just sit and watch him figure things out.

he is very alert and connects and smiles and is very animated and he makes all sorts of cute noises, 

we are so in love.

COLTER
-  he only likes the big green binks from the hospital
- today is his first day in size 1 diapers (they are still a bit big, but we used up all the newborns)
- he snores.... quite loud
- he wakes up usually twice in the night (down around 11 eats about 3 and 7, give or take)
- there have been a few nights where he has only woken up once... heaven.
- he is not afraid to burp and let them rip.... full on, man sounds!
- he loves his new toys, and bats at them (i was kind of against getting them, but im glad we did)
- he is a happy boy and super smiley... we cant get enough.
- we can take him anywhere and if we are moving he is usually asleep
- he loves his car seat
- he has been attacked by the baby acne (trying to ignore it and hopping it leaves)
- he has new hair coming in
- he loves to be held all day, and i love holding him all day!!!
- and if you care to know i had my six week appointment today and i am healing nicely and feeling pretty good (for awhile i wasnt sure this day would ever come) everything is a GO. and i love my doctor so much that for a minute ive even considered having another one while we are out here (only 18 more months) so he could deliver another one of our babies....crazy i know!!

 Adri {landons sister} came into town, we had a great time. she is in love too, but how could you not fall head over heels for this sweet little guy. we even got out a little, went to Distrito (best mexican food)
and showed her around down town. and of course Colter was a trouper, and slept most of the time.

happenings through my iphone

Nana came and went... again. this trip was way too short!! but we did manage to get out of the house {very nice} and the little man was such a good sport {born to be a good shopper} or he is just a good baby, either way we were all happy. {cant wait to see nana and gang in 6 weeks!!} and i need to be better at taking pictures {with a real camera} although the iphone {and instagram} come in handy its just not the same, but i am happy to have something!! Colter is getting so big, its crazy how much they change every single day. just when you dont think you could love anything more.... we squeeze a little more love out of this guy.

My Baby Boy is one Month Old

- I seriously cant believe how fast one month has gone by
- Baby Boy is a dream
- he is a good eater
- good sleeper {day and night}
- he wakes up twice in the night {around 3 and 7}
- loves the bath {i know i say that all the time but he really does}
- loves to be held and snuggled
- loves his daddy
- just in the past week he has started to spit up {we go through lots of laundry}
- and he has the baby acne and it makes me so sad
- either his head is growing or his hair is falling out just in front {i like to think his head is growing}
- very smiley
- starting to interact and connect {love it}
- he has the cutest sad face you have ever seen
- he is getting so big!!! {officially out of newborn clothes}
- still in newborn diapers {and we go through a ton!! 8 packs}

we are so in love, we just stare at him in wonder and awe all day. he truly is the best thing that has ever happened in our world. we are so blessed... and lucky to have such a good, darling, sweet, amazing baby. now if we could just freeze time and he could be our little baby forever!!!

TUBBY TIME

and there is just something about this little guy in the water that i just cant get enough of. 

bath time is the highlight of our day and i look forward to it... every single day.

Came to visit us & we  had such a great, relaxing time {we didnt do a whole lot} but we did spend every hour of the day loving on this little boy and spending quality time with each other & thats more than i could ask for. Colter loves his Auntie & She couldnt get enough of him either!! It makes me so sad that we live so far away from each other. 

She is the Happy in my Ness.
