No way is my baby almost a year old. This year has gone by way too fast and I'm not sure I am okay with it. Colter is the most easy going, well adjusted, go with the flow baby and we are sooo grateful for that. We are back on the traveling horse again and he has done great {no surprise}. We were in St. George, Salt Lake, Lake Powell and Northern California, Reno for the night, and we drove all the way from San Francisco to Denver in a weekend.

Colter is funny. we laugh at him all day. seriously we are entertained by him all the time, by his facial expressions, his sounds, his every move. and when we laugh at him, he laughs, and then we all laugh.
He has a "very active tongue" like a little lizard, it moves so fast, in and out, in and out. I love all the things he does with his little mouth, the bubbles, the sounds, the way he eats, and just the way it moves.
He has the best dance moves I have ever seen a baby rock. he starts grooving every song he hears whether it is real music or almost any noise or even just me singing. he swings his hips, shrugs his shoulders, and nods his little head. it brings joy to his little soul.
Colter has the cutest crawl. he has quite the swagger. his hips rock from side to side. Im trying to enjoy every little hip swing because before I know it he will be over crawling and on to other things.
He can stand and balance on his own and he can walk just holding one of our fingers but as soon as we let go he will take one or two steps and then he just gets down and crawls. he's not really into the whole walking thing.... take your time buddy.
We had one good month of sleeping through the night in August and now that we are back to our crazy traveling schedule Colter is back to waking up at night. sometimes once sometimes twice and he has surprised us with a few great nights of sleep. {grateful for each one}
Colters Favorite Foods: string cheese, black beans, refried beans, chicken, yogurt, most fruit but especially grapes, strawberries and raspberries.
He loves cars and trucks and makes different noises for every different one. and he LOVES stuffed animals especially his little bunny that he sleeps with.
