Shore Baby

It was a beautiful 75 degrees {on march 24th can you believe that}
and Landon had a last minute day off so what did we do..... packed up and headed to the shore!!!  

Best decision ever!!!

 It was Perfect we ALL got way too much sun {sorry Colter, mom did  her best to prevent that sunburn, sunscreen, a hat, and a huge umbrella, what else do you do? We only took you out for a few minutes to take some pictures} but so worth it. That is my Happy Place, and it was exactly what I needed. Colter Loved the sand, the way it would squish through his fingers, and he didn't seem to think it tasted too bad either. We have to start him young, he was born to be a sun worshiping beach babe.

we dug a little hole, just perfect for Colter to sit in and play with his toys, he played, took a two + hour nap, ate, played again and it was time to go

Oh Happy Day at the Shore.

Sunny St. George

We made a little trip back home to St. George, its not a piece of cake traveling alone with a baby.....but Colter did awesome. He was seriously a dream baby on the flight to Vegas {all the bachelor parties and spring breakers were very impressed and all loved him} He barely made a peep, just smiled, laughed, flirted, and slept. We had lots of fun {and didn't take any pictures to prove it} thank goodness for the iphone. No matter how long I go for, its never long enough to do everything we plan on doing, but man oh man we sure missed Landon

 Colter learned all sorts of new tricks, he found his toes, learned to eat with a spoon, and learned to sit up all by himself. He also learned some new sounds, grunts, and his new favorite is eeeeeee really loud. We also learned that neither one of us sleep, if we are sleeping in the same room.

He got lots of Loves from Nana and Poppie {so sad i didn't get one picture of colter & poppie} and Auntie Leigh, and Grandma and Grandpa Great {again no pictures, so sad} and Uncle Tay Tay was in SG mountain biking and stopped by for a quick visit.

At the airport saying goodbye.... always sad, but it wont be long.... 2 more months!! 

and we'll be back!! 

 {Colter still did pretty good on the flight back considering the 2 hour delay (half on the plane) he was just a little more fussy just for the awfully rude lady that "hates babies, and he was going to ruin her trip, and she wasn't sitting by no baby" who says that, out loud, or at all.}

Are you kidding me, how does this happen.... i cant believe how much this little guy has changed (and has changed our lives) and has grown (and has made us grow) he is doing and perfecting all sorts of new tricks. he is rolling all over, front to back and back to front, talks, and sings, blows bubbles, clasps his hands together, and puts everything into his mouth. He is really getting a hang of the whole hand-eye coordination thing. Colter is very sensitive, to people and noises, and he will let you know how he feels about it. First tooth sighting.... besides all the drooling, you can see little white tooth buds in his gums, it comes up and down, but when its up you can feel a little something in there.... 5 months, he is too little for all this!!!

 People aren't kidding when they say cherish every moment because they grow up way too fast!! and before you know it, your babies will be having babies.

He weighs 14 lbs

 and is

 25.5 inches long

 He Rolls

 And Drools

and makes all sorts of noises

 He found His Hands

 And He Cries..... usually only when he is hungry or needs a new diaper or sometimes right before he falls asleep

 And he has the cutest smile and laugh

 And the most amazing blue eyes

Colter is the sweetest baby boy in the world, everyone instantly falls in love with him, i know i say this every time..... but really who knew we could be so in love!!!
