Early December Festivities . . .
About 45 minutes away from our house is a magical place called Longwood Gardens. It was the family homestead of the Peirce family (one of Amee's direct ancestors) until they sold it to Pierre Du Pont in 1905. Pierre Du Pont founded the Du Pont company and bought this beautiful piece of land for his weekend getaways. He transformed it into an amazing garden featuring his beloved italian water fountain that he spent 10 years researching before building. Pierre died in the 1950's and his family turned the gardens into a place where the public could come and enjoy what he created.

THE PLACES WE GO.......
I WORK IN THIS BEAUTIFUL PART OF TOWN ABOUT 20 min FROM OUR HOUSE, SO LIKE 45 min OUT OF THE CITY. IT HELPS ME SUSTAIN MY "BIG DREAMER"... TREE LINED STREETS, QUAINT NEIGHBORHOODS, HUGE STONE HOUSES, DARLING LITTLE SHOPS, YUMMY RESTAURANTS, ITS QUITE DELIGHTFUL!!!
{to bad i don't really like my job huh}

AND THIS IS WHAT LANDON GETS TO SEE EVERYDAY. HIS SCHOOL IS RIGHT DOWN TOWN, LUCKY BOY GETS TO PASS THROUGH THE GHETTO, SEE LOTS OF METAL, LOTS OF TRASH, ENTERTAINING CRAZIES, BUT LUCKILY HIS SCHOOL IS IN THE NICE PART OF THE CITY.
{p.s. he is doing so great with school and adjusting to everything. he makes me so proud xoxo}

Sleepy Hollow
We spent Halloween weekend up in Sleepy Hollow NY. It was a Halloween dream come true for Landon. The village is very quaint and can be quite spooky as well. It was an awesome weekend and we even saw the HEADLESS HORSEMAN ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!

We stayed on an old manor in a neighboring village called Tarrytown. {http://www.tarrytownhouseestate.com/}
