Happy Birhtday.... to YOU

Its the big 3.0.

And we celebrated ALL week. Landons mom surprised him for his birthday (landon is impossible to surprise so i cant believe we actually pulled this off... and i LOVE that we did) she flew in late Wednesday night.  I went to pick up "the friend that was staying at our house because of an interview she had out here" when we got back from the airport it was past midnight so we snuck into our room and landon thought I was showing "my friend" my sleeping husband {haha}. He was totally creeped out and it took him awhile to realize that it was his wife and mom hovering over him in his sleep, and not some stranger {hello i would never do that} we got him good!! Birthday week started with the mom surprise, king crab dinner, night away at the Palomar, Birthday breakfast, Birthday Pie with friends, Sunday Birthday dinner -beef bourguignon- and happy hour at Distrito. 

a week full of favorites, it cant get much better than that.

February 16th

 King Crab Birthday Dinner

 Every 30 year old still needs toys for his birthday.... oh and money too

 Then off we went for our Romantic Valentine/Birthday Nigh away. We went back to the Palomar downtown Philly {we loved it so much last year we had to come back} It was so nice to spend some good quality uninterrupted time together and I did surprisingly well with leaving Colter for the first time 

{after we slept in is when i started to miss him and was ready to go back home}

 We came back and had Birthday Breakfast/Lunch {since L had to be to the hospital at 6 on his actual birthday, way too early for breakfast} 

We had Waffles with Strawberries, Cream and home made Syrup, Bacon, and Sausage 

 

Then onto the Birthday Pie Bash with neighbors and school friends

Landons Favorite.... Mini Key Lime Pie, Blueberry Pie and Lemon Meringue Pie

{and my Favorite... warm milk cinnamon cake}

 It was a fun filled week and we are all exhausted!!

 I am so grateful for this 30 year old boy, he is the sweetest, most thoughtful, loving, makes us laugh, handy man, so kind, sexy, hard working, makes us all happy, incredibly handsome, husband and father. we are so lucky to have him in our lives.

Colter did really good, only two pokes and one oral. he only cried for a few seconds and he even gave the nurse a smile before she left the room. I didn't feel as bad this time around. The doctor was very impressed with how strong Colter is, I think she said how great his muscle tone is, at least 5 times

(he must have gotten that from his mom.....wink)

he is one good, happy, healthy, baby boy

I was a little worried that we we going to have a rough day and night.... but we didn't. he was a little more cuddly (don't mind that) and he slept from 10-5 put the bink in and he fell right back asleep till 8 I fed him and he fell right back asleep till 10:30 when I had to wake him up so we could go to Costco

lets cross our fingers that this is the new schedule he has decided to put himself on!!!

FOUR months old

You are my SUNSHINE my only Sunshine.

You make me HAPPY when Sky's are Gray.

Picture over-load I know

Four Months old already 

he had his first cold, raspy, stuffy, so sad

he weighs 13 lbs

he just started wearing size 2 diapers

he can wear some of 0-3 clothes but mostly wears 3-6 months

still spits up a ton... I'm not sure what to do about it

between the spits and the drool he is always wet.

his sensitive skin is doing a lot better but still sensitive

started to do really funny/cute things with his mouth

blows bubbles

HE ROLLED OVER!!

coos and sings and squeaks and makes all sorts of cute noises

clasps his hands together, and then stares at them in amazement

really likes his toys, he grabs onto them and swings them all over, 

and gets so excited when you show him his toys 

he is starting to put everything in his mouth 

loves to stand and pushes off everything 

his giggle melts my heart

he still holds my hand while he eats, its my favorite thing ever!!

I have come to terms that I don't get anything done during the day, and I'm okay with it, there is nothing I would rather be doing then just hang out with Colter all day.

he gets so excited to see his dad, I love watching those two together

we love this little boy more than he will ever know. 

he really is the best, cutest, sweetest, most happy, smiley baby

{unless he is hungry, tired or has a diaper situation, then he sure lets you know}

but even then he is still adorable!!
