Baby its COLD Outside......
It has been bone chilling cold here, and today we finally got a little bit of snow. {i only like snow in December and January and that's it!!} For some reason when its just cold, with no snow... its just Bitter Cold!! The snow somehow makes it feel more cozy, less bitter.

I wish i could cuddle up by one of these....

And maybe, just maybe we can make it happen, well close. No chance of a fireplace in our house, and I don't have these particular slippers {although they would be nice} and I'm not sure what that drink is exactly, but I bet I can make something pretty close. AND.... Landon just finished his last final today so I finally get my husband back yea!!! {I'm really excited!!!} He has been studying night and day and I have been working a ton so I feel like the Christmas Season has almost come and gone without us knowing it!! but it has all payed off, Landon did extremely well in school {I'm so proud of you L} and we have a little bit of $$$ {mostly to pay the bills but maybe a little extra fun money}

We are so excited for the Christmas Break to begin.  To see family and friends.  To relax and eat yummy food. and to Enjoy the Spirit of Christmas.

We have been so busy!!! With school, and tests, and work, and it all... but we have managed to deck the little halls around here. Just enough to give us a little Christmas Spirit. This is definitely my favorite time of year. I love the Smell, and the Lights, the Feel, the goodies, the Music, and the Spirit all around... the only thing that would make it absolutely perfect is... some snow flurries but just at night as we snuggle up watching {lifetime/christmas} movies and sipping hot coco.....{dream on} and if I could lay out and get a TAN. I am so WHITE I can barely stand it!!! a little tan, makes everything better!! even Christmas.

Don't You just LOVE these?

I feel like I need these delicate little things, wrapped around, & tied in bows on top of ALL the presents under the Christmas Tree. Is that too much to ask? I don't think so, unwrapping Pretty Presents all done up, is half the fun!!! & half the battle[not going to lie]. My Mom and Sister are tough competition when it comes to creative pretty wrapping.... but I love it! because when Santa and the Elf's come to the Stephens Home...you better watch out, cause its one SPECTACULAR show.

I am thankful for so much. I am truly blessed. So blessed that its hard to put in words. So much that i might even eat a bite of turkey this year. {its been a few years} and for that, Landon would be VERY thankful!!

I am thankful for those who came before us, set examples, and paved the way for today. For those who fill today day with excitement, accomplishment, love, challenges, enlightenment, and enjoyment. And for those tomorrow and each day after, who will touch our lives and {hopefully} inspire us to be better and live a much fuller life. 

EAGLES vs GIANTS

This Game was gut wrenching, blood pressure rising, make me want to pull my hair out, loose my voice screaming, thrilling to the end. but the EAGLES did it, they pulled off a win!!!
I was seriously sick to my stomach.... maybe that was just the crab fries dipped in cheese sauce, and the king crab, and the sushi, and the dip n dots, and the chocolate caramel popcorn... who knows? who cares? it was so worth it!!!

We spent the weekend in the great Amish Country

It was beautiful and full of interesting things.....

Like the town names: Intercourse, Climax, Blueball, Bird-in-Hand, Lititz, Virginville, and Paradise.

 I could have spent hours and hours going from shop to shop

 And MiNi horses

And Beautiful Scenery

And Strong, very interesting Accents

And the Perfect Ending... Staying at the Cameron Estate 

{I just love little Bed and Breakfasts. They are quaint, and full of character, with really yummy food. No matter where we are staying, I always feel like I'm far far away, living in another life, and I love it!!! I like to pretend theses giant beautiful homes are mine. And I'm a wealthy, very important person, maybe even wearing a stunning corset dress, sipping tea.....

But reading the article on GOOP really helped. I've taken the first step to recovery, acknowledging that I, indeed have a problem with sugar. But at least I'm willing to work on it right....

Fall Foliage @ Its Finest

at some point in your life....

everyone should experience an east coast fall foliage at least once.

it is the most amazing thing you have ever seen, and it is in full bloom as we speak. when they say "foliage" they are not joking. i'm talking THICK trees, everywhere, BIG ones, and of every color. i could just drive around for hours soaking up the breathtaking scenery. {and when i say breathtaking... it really is. every time i see a really vibrant tree, uhhh ohhh wow!

Fall is definitely the east coasts season,  it trumps all other seasons and places. 

{well maybe, except for a st. george october sky...maybe}

really what beats  70 degrees, amazing colors, and the crisp smell of autumn.....

 True Food, Pilates, Shopping, Yoga, Shoes, Rain, Movies, The Beach, Yummy Food,  best Pedicures ever, Rusty Pelican, Good Company, a wedding, treats,  a Great Time Had By All!!

I had the best time. Thanks to my family for being so great, and so fun. What would I do without you?, seriously. I cant wait to go back {and eat at True Food} and Christmas seems too far away, I miss you guys already!!!

Dirty Little Bastard

We have a "little bastard" who lives inside our house
and this "little bastard" is a tiny little mouse
I told this little mouse that it didnt have to die
just as long as he didn't live in my kitchen,
that instead he lived outside.

Night after night that traps would go SNAP!
but no mouse in sight
so we have here a "smart little bastard" who is putting up quite the fight
so we got smart and put traps all around.....
and we finally GOT EM!! now he lives in the ground.

We pray that he was the only one....
cause if I see another one, no more traps
I'm just grabbing the gun!!!

{No matter what life gives us, or what might come our way ... in the long run, it makes life a lot easier to "just be happy" than just be sad or mad or frustrated or anxiety ridden, or lonely. So as bad as it may feel or be.... Just be Happy!!}

{what an amazing PACKED week we had!! 

of course whats a trip without a little ... SHOPPING or a LOT of shopping!! we shopped every chance we got, even if that means sending the boys to dinner and skipping out just to get a few more hours in.... it was well worth it.}

 Shop-Aholic:a person who has an addiction to or obsession with....shopping.

{i wouldn't really say its an addiction, but wow what joy it brings us.}

{once again, a very successful day at the shore. we were having way too much fun to take pictures, soaking up the perfect 80+ degrees and sunshine, warm water, cant forget all the little beach shops, and eating at the Ugly Mug} 

oh and remember mom how you have been telling us for months now that we need to get new tires.... and you guys even helped us out with them... 
and even the morning before we left for the shore you said we should hurry and go see if we could get some tires....
moms always know best
sure enough we were driving and 
BAM. Thud bud thud dud thud...... shot tire.
luckily George came to our rescue, literally in less than a minute [even though Landon could have done it much faster] but before we knew it, we were back on the road, cruisin on our donut. 
lesson learned.... we got new tires.

Carmel Apple, peeled fried potato chips(above), fresh squeezed lemonade, just baked apple cider donuts and fresh pressed apple cider, orange way long pasta [for Halloween] and other fun pastas and every farm grown (organic I'm sure) fruits and veggies oh and you can go pick your own if ya want. mmmmm!!

oh and we painted our dinning room (pictures to come) and made new kitchen curtains
and made yummy mini cheesecakes, did hair and went to COSTCO. 
{honestly I wasn't ready for the week to be over, it went by way too fast!! come back!!!
