why blog when you can instagram? its easier and so much more convenient, although not everyone has the privilege of having instagram {only super cool mac'ers} and you cant print books..... so I'll blog my instagram.

TWO MONTHS OLD

{ON DECEMBER 5TH}

oops im a little behind. we have been busy busy around here. L has had 6 finals... 4 this last week and 2 more next week and then he is DONE!! we all couldn't be more excited. We have decked the halls are we are ready for Christmas. I cant believe how fast this month has gone by, i swear just last week i had a baby and now he is two and a half months old. We are loving this age.....

Love how he knows us... our faces and voices

Love when he sees us and gets a great big smile.... melts our hearts

Love how he is sleeping 7 hour stretches at night

Love how he tucks his thumb in his fist, then sucks his entire fist trying to find his thumb

Love all the cute noises he makes

Love how he loves to cuddle

Love his turned down, quivering lip pouty face

Love how he spits up ALL over all day long

Love all his faces and how animated he is.... until we get out the camera to capture it

Love when he is eating and he stops, looks up at me, smacks his lips and smiles

Love how he concentrates so hard when he stands up, he is getting so strong...he loves it

Love every single stinking thing about this sweet baby boy

Colter got his 2 month shots on 12-16 {a little insurance mishap set him back almost 2 weeks.... so frustrating} we were both a little sad. Colter was so brave the first poke he didnt even make a peep. he just looked up at me with the most sad/confused look on his face like 'mom what are earth are doing to me and why are you letting this strange but cute girl hurt me' and after that he just screamed and screamed. way to pull at my heart strings little one. other then that he did great!! my baby is getting so big!!

Oh Christmas Tree oh Christmas Tree

this little boy brings the sweetest spirit into our home making the Holidays feel even more magical. Colter loves the tree and looking at the lights. I love the time the three of us spend together laying on the family room floor snuggled up in front of the tree watching Christmas movies...or football {lets be honest} the month of December just isnt long enough!! This is my favorite time of the year... Deck the Halls, falalala lifetime, eggnog, all the smells... especially the christmas tree, all the sparkly lights and glitter, the music, all the colors, my christmas socks, cuddling {its too hot in the summer} the spirit of christmas everywhere, i love it all. and the best part is i get to stay home all day and enjoy it every bit with my baby boy.

the roller coaster of emotions, we are entertained all day just watching him. happy then sad, wide awake then fast asleep just like that, jabbering, cooing, blowing bubbles, laughing, pouting. big dimple smiles, furrowed brow, wish we knew what he was thinking. we are in love.

Camerons {kev, jan, taylor, ashley, and paisley} came into town to visit, see Colter and spend Thanksgiving with us. we packed in lots of adventures in just a few days....a  great time was had by all. thank you for a wonderful weekend.

 Love this little guy more than words can explain. seriously what did we do with our lives before he came..... cause now we just stare at him all day and love him all over. we are most of all GRATEFUL for our Baby Boy.

We had Thanksgiving dinner at the Valley Green Inn {delicious} and we took a bunch of pictures {of course} and they ALL got erased {so sad} so we went back for Brunch....
