August Happenings

We were back in Philly for the month of August. It went by way too fast. It was hot and humid but not as bad as the last few Augusts have been. We tried to take advantage of this month we had together and do as much as we could or as much as the weather would let us. 

Colter loves this little pool....and the bath tub. He could be in the water all day!! 

We had lots of BBQ'S and I think Us, Clarks, and Spicers ate together more nights than not. It was GREAT!!! we had Monday Night pizza, old Philadelphia root beer, fondue/treats and Bachelor Pad NIGHT..... don't judge us, we love it. and PIG PILE Night....best game ever. 

It really makes us sad that our trio will be ending soon, and we know that we will never have this same situation or  experience anywhere else.

Colter loves football. It sure makes his daddy happy. he was absolutely fascinated and loved it all. Go EAGLES!

We went on lots of walks, Inside and Out.  Colter is a champ with the little walker toy, I think we are going to have a walker on our hands before we know it and I'm not sure we are ready for it.

We Roasted S'mores at Ridley Creek Park {why haven't we done that more? we loved it out there}

and we FINALLY made it to the SHORE.  Every weekend the forecast showed rain so on our last weekend there I said, "rain or shine we are going to the shore!!!"Its always fun when the whole gang goes.... another thing we will surely miss. {Oops the only pictures i have of the shore are of Landon and Colter}

Pool Time..... someday we will have a "for real" pool buddy.
