Easter Festivities 

i love this time of year, i love spring, and i love easter. i'm not going to lie, it is a little hard being so far away from family, especially on holidays. but we had a wonderful weekend!! Land is such a good sport and always goes along with all my high demands, and he does it with a smile!!

Landon's White Coat Ceremony

Landon is now officially a Student Doctor. I am so proud of him!! He has worked so hard these past two years {I cant believe that two years have already gone by...crazy!!} He has done really well in school and still manages to find lots of time to spend with me. He has the courage and passion to go for his dreams.... and because of that he will always achieve them. We have loved our experience out here so far and look forward to many more great times. 2 down and just 5 more to go. You Rock My World L, Love you so much!!!

Damn Snow Flurries!!!!

What happened to spring, and the sunshine, and fresh flowers, and my motivation to do anything {but sit on the couch} 

I need the sunshine to come and bring me some creative flow, and give my skin a nice glow, and turn this frown up side down.... 

and if it doesn't happen fast, I'm heading out of town, and I will!!

Its Official....

We finally did it, 

we are officially Pennsylvanians. 

It took us almost 2 years,

okay like a year and a half,

not a big deal.

{feb. 25th - march 5th}

Costa Rica {year 2}
      &
Anniversary {year 2}

 {i tried to only pick a few pictures, out of the 1000, it was really hard.}

We started the trip off in the small town {they are all small towns} Esterillos. The place we stayed was ideal, beautiful grounds, right on the beach.... and a pool {my favorite part, shh don't tell}

 

Then we journeyed {and i mean journey, a 2 hour drive then an hour and a half on a very rough dirt road.... it was quite the experience to say the least. But well worth the torture. To the very very small town of Pavones

It's considered the 2nd longest left hand break in the world. And really, it goes on forever and its smooth and beautiful and really fast. Landon was in heaven.

we stayed in a beautiful little place, tucked in the jungle but you could still hear the waves crashing at night. I love that sound. 

And then back to Dominical. 

{for some reason the drive back wasn't nearly as bad as the drive in}Thank goodness!!!

We were lucky enough to stay in a beautiful home up on the hill, {thanks to a friend of landons dad} with a stunning view, and a pool, and comfy beds, indoor/outdoor showers, the whole front of the house was glass doors that opened up so you really felt one with nature {bugs, frogs, birds, you name it}.... the list could go on and on but mmmm it was good.

Just having a little R&R pool time.

The food is amazing!!! so fresh and delicious. We've yet to be let down.

A LITTLE BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION 

FOR A LITTLE BIRTHDAY BOY!!

Now we are off to Costa Rica!!!

where the sun shines and the waves call our name where the sweet ocean breeze smells so sweet where you can walk on the beach for miles with no one in site where the air is hot the sand is hot and the water is hot where the pineapple is so divine its making my mouth water now...

it will be one week of heaven baby.

 

Dream GetAway....

L is the best, all time Best at surprises {however he did say that "i have to be the easiest person to surprise because i dont snoop, and i dont ask questions"} For Valentines he totally surprised me with a romantic Night on the Town. He some how got me all the way up to the room and I still had no clue what was going on, I thought we were just going out to eat Sunday night with some friends {who dropped us off, and were in on the whole thing} He is Perfect, It was Perfect, I loved it ALL. We ate at Devon..... so delicious{i would do anything, anything for one of their rolls that just crumble and melt in your mouth, right now} it was a beautiful night, so we walked around downtown, enjoying a romantic stroll. Then we indulged in the Spa King.... a Glass enclosed spa right in the the middle of the bathroom {let your imagination run wild}.... it was amazing!!! we woke up to Toasted Pecan French Toast with Bananas and fresh Maple Syrup and a side of Homestyle Potatoes ...... mmm. L only had class from 1-3 so we enjoyed our relaxing morning, I hit the shops while L was at school, then we called it a day. 

 BEST VALENTINES DAY EVER!!!

YOUR THE BEST L

{ Feb. 3rd-10th }

A quick trip home to sunny St. George, except it was kind of chilly, but I would take anything to get out of the snow. My brother had work meetings in Vegas so it was a whole family affair {sad, so sad that L had school and couldn't join us, although we tried}. It was a lovely, relaxing week, except for the part where everyone {but me and my mom} got the flu, I'm talking the full on, gut wrenching, stomach flu. It was awful!!! but other than that, we enjoyed the regular; great food, walks, lots of R&R, a little sewing, pilates, and good company.

 So Landon and I got the boys some books and we HAD to get Where's Spot? because it was Ls favorite book when he was little. Now I see why, Con absolutely LOVED this book. he would go from lap to lap all day, everyday, wanting to read this book. It was the cutest thing I've ever seen.

GroundHog Day: is a holiday celebrated on February 2. According to folklore, if it is cloudy when a groundhog emerges from its burrow on this day, it will leave the burrow, signifying that winter will soon end. If on the other hand, it is sunny, the groundhog will supposedly see its shadow and retreat back into its burrow, and winter will continue for six more weeks.

 I don't think there is any chance of this little guy seeing his shadow today. This winter has been  

"Particularly Harsh"

  on the east coast... that's us, right here!!! rain, ice, hail, snow, you name it we've got it!! Please spring come fast... for my sanity and for everyone who has to deal with me!!

Yet another SNOW DAY.

Not going to lie..... sleeping in, hanging out with the husband ALL day, playing in the snow, munching on food ALL day, doing nothing but relaxing, is kind of nice. BUT not getting paid to do all that, not so Nice. We woke up to a fresh 16 inches. Craziest snow, thunder and lightning, ice, and wind storm I've ever witnessed.

GuNg- Ho:  wholeheartedly enthusiastic and loyal.

This picture was taken {crapy iphone picture} right after I dropped L off at the train today, why they didn't call it a legit Snow Day? who knows, the roads aren't plowed {notice}, people sliding all over, it was a mess!! Either learn how to handle the snow {like at least plow}, or call it a snow day and shut down the city, come on!!  I'm not Gung-Ho about the snow at all.... bring me some sunshine to lighten my soul please.
