Jackson Lake

{JULY 29TH - AUGUST 1ST}

The Cameron's take a trip up to Jackson Lake every year and stay in these little cabins right on the Lake. Jackson is one of our most favorite places. We were so sad that we missed the trip last year so we were extra excited that we could make it this year, even if it was a long drive only for a few days, it was well worth it!! It is Amazing!!

Colter LOVES the water. He went straight for it the second we got there, and the freezing water didn't even phase him. He was as happy as he could be. He loves the rocks and loves trying to eat them every chance he could get "NO Colter don't eat the rocks" doesn't mean anything to him....we are still working on that.
A great time was had by all, on the shore, on the boat, and all around!!

Colter is so animated, always pulling faces. I love his little dimple.

30 years old and he still has it......  didn't even skip a beat, like a pro.

and no its not "just like ridding a bike" okay. It takes skills.

I wish life was like a vacation everyday..... reality isn't always fun.

This Bay has a special place in our hearts,  especially Landons. This is where Colter's name came from.... Colter Bay. {John Colter became the first known person to enter the region now known as Yellowstone National Park and the first to see the Teton Mountain Range. Colter spent months alone in the wilderness exploring and is widely considered to be the first mountain man}

 Besides being breathtakingly beautiful they have the best ice cream!!
