Northern California

Well here we are, on to the next month ... July ... Landon is doing his externship in Vallejo California, just north of San Francisco for the entire month of July.
 and this is what our month looked like...
Spent the 4th of July {one of my most favorite holidays} with my family {its Cade's Birthday} and we ALL spent it in the bathroom with the vicious flu, I literally missed the fireworks, missed the Birthday cake, missed it all, and lost 5 pounds. Me, Cade, Laurie, and their 3 boys all had it, it was awful to say the least. We recovered.
 July 9th I turned 28, another birthday without Landon.
 On July 12th we headed to Lake Powell for a quick weekend trip {heaven on Earth}
 on Sunday the 15th we drove to Salt Lake and Monday the 16th we flew to Cali to be with Landon {oh how we missed him, and he was going crazy without us} We spent the next two weeks in Novato with the amazing, wonderful and oh so kind Kurtz family.
We Loved it there, and we wouldn't mind living there for a three year residency.... we will see what our future has in store next march on Match Day!!!

Colter loves his daddy they are the cutest little buddies. He gets excited every time he even sees Landon. These two together.... melts my heart.

Tennessee Cove
We took a beautiful Sunday hike down to the beach. the trail is about three miles total. It was a perfect day, this might be one of my most favorite things to do as a family.
Colter was fascinated with the rocks he loved picking up handfuls and watching them fall through his fingers, and pushing them around with his little feet and trying to sneak them into his mouth.
Up and Down Up and Down Up and Down

This little one is into Everything!!  Cant take your eyes off him for a second.
and really.... how can you say no to that face.
