Tis' the Season
December was a busy month for Landon lots of surgery and Lots of Call. So we tried to sneak in something festive every chance we could. I love this time of year, for some reason I was more homesick this year, We were homesick for our families and we were homesick for Philly. But we Decked the Halls and made the most of it.
Colter loved this little Advent house. He would get so excited he would just shake. Every morning he would light up with excitment and run out to see what the Christmas Elf had left him in the house.
Oh to be a kid again.... everything is so magical.
We enjoyed some nice weather, and of course spent it outside.
(Dallas has the craziest weather, one day its sunny and warm and the next you have an ice storm, nice, freezing)

It was beautiful (for a day) everything was sparkling, it looked like an Iced Winter Wonterland
Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas, Everywhere you go

Nana sent Christmas Surprises in the mail (they are the best, she is the best) Treats for all.
It is so fun to see Colter get so excited about EVERYTHING, Christmas pillow cases, Christmas stickers, Christmas movies, Christmas stories, Christmas Santa elf's.
Joy to the World
We visited Santa (this time colter wouldn't sit on santas lap) But he was so beyond excited when he gave him a little bag of treats. We sipped hot coco and drove around and looked at lights.

We made Hungarians and Patisa with Cades family
They are the most delicious baked goods (from my grandma) Instantly felt like Christmas. They warmed my belly and my soul. Its so nice to have family close, especially around the Holidays.
