32 WEEKS

- he is getting big (or i am getting big)

- we love to watch him roll, kick and squirm.

- i've been feeling pretty good.... just really tired!!

- and really hot!!

- my ankles are starting to swell.... hate that!! 

(i guess i'm grateful for my bony little ankles 

  because with this much swelling it could be a lot worse)

- had an ultra sound, and everything looks great!

- 50% across the board.

- his head is down (great) 

- that means his knees and feet are in my ribs... constantly!!

- we are starting to get things ready... 

- we now have a car seat, stroller and a crib.

(we still have lots and lots to do/get)

- we are super excited!!!

A Little Trip to Linvilla Orchards

There is nothing better then...

a fresh juicy peach picked right off the tree.
Or a bright red plump tomato right off the vine.
Or an evening spent with Landon.
Or a big round belly...
Oh the little things in life that bring me so much joy!!

L Passed his Boards!!

30 weeks

I'm feeling pretty good besides the constant intense heart burn {i swear at times i can breath fire} the chronic back ache {which will probably never go away} and being insanely tired all the time {im back to my daily nap}. 

I really do feel so blessed to have had a fairly easy pregnancy thus far, lets just cross our fingers that it continues this way and ... i have a super easy, pain free, delightful delivery and throw in speedy recovery!!

These were taken at 28 weeks by the very talented Aynn Thurman.  I am so glad that I had these done, I debated {because i was only 28 weeks} but I was in Utah and I thought there is no better time then now to have belly pictures taken {photography in Philly just isnt the same} I LOVE how they all turned out. Baby Showers ....

it worked out perfectly to have a baby shower while i was in sg (even though i hate being center of attention and i dont really love showers) im so glad that i had one. it was so good to see everyone especially because i rarely get to see all these girls. and of course my mom and sister outdid themselves once again... it was perfect, cute, intimate, and the food was amazing!!! I couldn't have asked for more!!

 i love how baby boys first quilt turned out... you are the best mom!!!

On the menu:

waffle bar with all the toppings, quiche, banana bread, orange rolls, freash fruit

oh and it was on my Birthday....

so here is to 27

and after a very busy week we some how managed to squeeze a shower in slc 

{once again after all was said and done i was very glad i did!! it all worked out perfectly} 

I was in slc less than 24 hours, really about 12 and then i flew home the next morning to be home for Landons Boards.

em and i are only 2 weeks apart ... so fun!!

Thanks to everyone for making this all happen. for all the hard work putting these showers together and for everyone who came to be a part of it all. i loved seeing each one of you!!

I love even more that Landons Boards are over {yeah, im so proud of you L} and now we can get down to baby business!!

it has been a busy few months for us .... Birthdays, Boards, Showers, Traveling, Family, School, bbq's, working .... all in all ... we have had a great time!!

 4th of July Fireworks

 we had an amazing after show. now that the big sky high fireworks aren't illegal anymore we went a little crazy... I never knew it could be so fun. I love the 4th of July it has always been one of my favorite holidays and {happy birthday cade}

I love the smell and sparklers and the giant bowl of caramel pop corn the colors the food and the feeling of freedom in the air ... i love it all. I was so glad that Landon could come even if it was just a very short weekend trip!!

A little Surprise....

 i didnt take any pictures of this before i sent it off. (hated that) so i was so happy to see when i got home that my family did. this is how we told my family that we were having a baby ......

they opened it on easter, it was just a golden egg, they cracked it and .... surprise.

we have taken pictures almost every week and since you dont have a belly to show for quite some time we used fruit to show how big the baby was. my family has done an easter egg hunt with the grand prize golden egg ($100) so even though we didnt send them a benjamin they were still pretty excited!!

I was 16 weeks so it was a really big surprise
